Aussie Curves - Pattern Clash

Today's outfit! BRING IT cold weather!

This week is pattern clash over at Aussie Curves. There have been some great posts – some daring, some sophisticated & all of them awesome. I love being a part of a community of women who are bold in their clothing choices. Have you joined the Facebook group?

I have been home sick for the past two weeks with Vestibular Neuritis, but luckily I thought ahead and wore this outfit last month. I was so excited at finding this knit jacket at Cotton On that I had been dying for the weather to change so I'd have a chance to wear it! It is a thick unstructured jacket so I belted it with this corset belt I had in my closet (bought at Forever New about 4 years ago). I really like the silhouette it creates. This will definitely be my winter staple.

And the back side. Because life is better when there are more backsides....

I paired it with a green stripped top I bought on sale and thick ponte leggings (but really they’re more like pants....) that I am currently living in. I wore this outfit to work and it would easily shift to a casual social gathering. I styled my hair in a soft plait and threw on my favourite pair of grey Minnetonka moccasins. This is definitely an outfit that I will repeat!

What I'm Wearing: Cotton On Jacket // Target striped shirt // Target ponte pants // Forever New Belt // Colette Hayman panda phone case.

What are your cold weather essentials now that we are heading into cooler weather?
