Aussie Curves - Yellow (Part 2)

ootd wedding dress shopping

So today I made an executive decision that gold totally counts as yellow.... right? RIGHT??? I mean, its yellow based....surely that counts for something?

This is the outfit I wore to try on wedding dresses a few months ago. It was a really fun day, my mum & two of my sisters were able to make it and we had a pretty fun time looking at the display dresses. I found my dress at Bridal Secrets (the third dress I tried on) in Parramatta but will be purchasing it online because it is MUCH cheaper in the US. The designer is Maggie Sottero and it is a mermaid/trumpet gown. I can't wait to show you guys!

What I'm Wearing: Top Red cowl top from Target ($60 - about 2 years old, part of a limited edition collection) // Pants Black stretch pants with gold button detail from Target ($45 - buy them here) // Shoes Bittter by Steve Madden in Gold Sequin (about $140).

You may remember that I wore the purple version of these shoes to my engagement party. They were perfect for trying on wedding dresses as I'm pretty short (5'4 to be exact!) and I really needed the extra height to give the un-altered gowns their full potential. For the actual wedding I will be going with a much shorter heel (these are 5 inches!!!) probably closer to a 3 inch so that I can dance the night away without any problems!

That's it for Aussie curves this week, check out the other girls outfits below for more yellow fashion!
