Aussie Curves - Races

aussieoutfit-08-600x112
OK, Races time! Oh wait, I don’t actually like going to the races! For that reason, I will be giving you a flash back to a couple years ago - which was the last time I actually attended a racing event.

Races Aussie Curves

The reason I don’t like races is that I don’t like standing around in the sun… and unless you have the means to get a private area (which, alas I don’t) or you are just really into sweating, you’re gonna have a bad time. That being said, I do know a group of the Aussie Curves ladies booked a table for Ladies Race Day and that actually sounds like the kind of thing I wouldn't mind!

What I wore: A multi-coloured maxi dress from Sheike (I had to have it altered to fit my bust), a huge pink fascinator from a random tie shop in the city, white cardigan from Glassons. This event was for my friend Suzie’s birthday and it was actually a fantastic day! So I guess my ba-humbug attitude is not actually that true :)

I used to love the races when I was younger... now days I just don't enjoy it as much!!
I do love the chance to get dressed up.
BTW, is that photo at Hawkesbury?

Glad to know I'm not alone! Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one who doesn't love the races!
I can't remember what raceway this way, It was reasonably close to the city though...

I don't really love the races either - its OK, but getting dressed up is the most fun part!

I'm not really a races girl either... It's just gotten such a trashy reputation.

If were like a scene out of My Fair Lady however....

Gorgeous! I agree about the sun and the heat. You absolutely HAVE to have somewhere to escape.
