Aussie Curves - Retro

Retro week was SUPPOSED to be my favourite week for Aussie Curves because I am a Pin-Up girl fanatic! But alas, the stars didn't align for me this week. Instead, I wanted to share with you my favourite Pin-Up clothing store which amazingly goes up to plus sizes (YAY!).

Pin Up Girl Clothing has been my favourite boutique for a while now. My Pinterest ‘Fashion’ board is completely plastered with their dresses! So who are they? Well their website covers that one:

“Since 1999, Pin Up Girl, headed by Laura Byrnes, has been specializing in the highest quality vintage inspired fashion, shoes and accessories for women of every size! Our original designs are cut to flatter your curves and make you look as beautiful as you feel, at prices to fit every budget. Pinup Girl Clothing is the first company to do more than pay lip service to the idea that beauty is not a size. We use models from size Extra Small to 2X to showcase our designs, featuring stunning editorial pinup photography by Laura, who is also the head designer for our signature line, Pinup Couture.”

So without further ado – here are my favourite pieces at the moment!

This gorgeous red beauty is the 'Haunted Housewife'. And I am in desperate need of it! Like seriously, nothing says sexy like a red dress with a bangin' collar! I am just so in love with this baby.

This mustard and violet dress is the 'Birdie' dress. After seeing MissVictoryViolet wear it I was sold.

This sexy purple thing is the 'Jessica' dress that gives me flashbacks of Jessica Rabbit cartoons. talk about drop dead gorgeous!

Last on the dress list is the 'Monica' dress. This to me is the pure embodiment of bombshell clothing. Its so Marilyn. I'm also a little in love with this model's hair colour. Its delicious!

Last but not least is this ridiculously 'Quirky Fox Head' scarf. The perfect alternative to real fur! I have been coveting it for some time now, so perhaps its time to jump in and purchase one for myself....

I hope this post was helpful to those lovely babes with curves who want to rock some fierce retro outfits this year. Cant wait to see what all the other Aussie Curves girls got up to this week!
