My favourite summer treat is anything involving ice cream, caramel or coffee... Ok, that's a pretty big chunk of desserts. But hey, I was blessed with a second (or third...) dessert stomach! But when I'm home, and needing a special pick me up, I make my version of an Affogato. Here's how I make it.
Ingredients - good vanilla ice cream, a shot of espresso (I used Gloria Jeans caramel flavoured coffee beans to make mine), dulce de leche (or nestle top'n'fill), whipped cream & cinnamon.
Method: 1. Place a scoop of ice cream in a small bowl or short glass. 2. Pour your shot of espresso on top. 3. Spoon on a little dulce de leche. 4. Top with whipped cream & sprinkle with cinnamon. Dig in with a spoon! Sunny xo.
